SEMS Inc. Provided Health & Safety Oversight for Coastal Cleanup Efforts

SEMS was responsible for the health and safety of thousands of personnel during the BP oil spill recovery efforts following the Deepwater Horizon MC 252 explosion. SEMS was contracted to provide qualified on-site health and safety representatives reporting to branch managers for parishes along the South Louisiana coast. SEMS responsibilities included H&S oversight during recovery efforts and coastal cleanup for:

  • 3,000 + personnel in Plaquemines Parish
  • 350 + personnel in Orleans/St. Tammany Parish
  • 300+ personnel in Jefferson Parish
  • 300+ personnel in Terrebonne Parish
