SEMS, Inc. was contracted by the City of Baton Rouge to facilitate the cleanup of a Brownfields 128A site for the Mid-City Redevelopment Alliance.
Industrial Site Cleanup in Baton Rouge
The scope of work included lead abatement, asbestos abatement, site clean-up activities, demolition of interior offices, saw cutting and breaking of concrete around hydraulic lifts, the removal of 7 hydraulic lifts, confirmation samples collected from hydraulic lift excavations, backfill and compact excavations, and concrete excavations.
Lead based paint was removed from walls and ceilings by sandblasting. All paint and sand debris was collected in roll off boxes and properly disposed.
