SEMS was contracted by Entergy to demolish the former A.B. Patterson Power Plant. This accident free project logged more than 70,000 man-hours. Performing as the Prime Contractor, SEMS managed this turnkey project contracting and managing two primary specialty contractors for asbestos abatement and demolition of the structure.
Demolition & Remediation Work Included:
Removal of residual fuel oils from various pipelines
Remediation of contaminated soil and site restoration activities to promote site drainage
Asset recovery resulting in scrap recovery value exceeding plan cost for project
